Welcome to my homepage!

A little bit about me:

I'm starting my first year as a graduate student in the astronomy program at UCSC. Before moving to California, I lived in St. Louis, MO for two years where I taught high school physics and physical science at Clyde C. Miller Career Academy (Phoenix Pride Baby!!) as a member of Teach For America. Before joining Teach For America, I attended Rice University in Houston, TX where I earned a B.S. in Astrophysics in 2005. As the son of an American diplomat, I had a nomadic childhood and grew up all over South Asia and southern Africa. I graduated high school from the American International School / Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2001.

I'm a bit of an adventurer and I love going hiking, backpacking, scubadiving etc.
